Using the directory

List Your Business helps you find and contact businesses. Business owners supply their own information. Check qualifications, insurance, prices and availability directly with a business before booking. Publication of a profile or trust badge does not mean we have independently verified every claim or guaranteed the business's work. You arrange services directly with the listed business.

Your business account

Each account manages one business profile. Keep your sign-in details private and your business details accurate. Only publish contact details, photographs and other content you own or have permission to use. Trust badges and membership claims must be accurate. We may request corrections or suspend a profile containing misleading, unlawful or unsuitable information.

Packages and payment

Lite costs £95 for 6 months. Pro costs £145 for 12 months. Elite costs £225 for 12 months and includes a one-page website when you first join. These are recurring directory subscriptions. Lite renews every 6 months; Pro and Elite renew every 12 months unless renewal is cancelled. Checkout shows the amount due, any applicable discount and the renewal terms. Your listing period starts when payment is completed. A later change to the price offered to new customers does not change the price already agreed for your existing subscription.

The Elite website

After full payment of your first Elite package, we will contact you by phone and email to arrange your one-page website. Please provide contact details where we can reach you. The website is included when you first join; renewing the directory subscription does not include a new website each year. Hosting and domain arrangements are agreed separately and are not billed through this website. Your directory subscription does not authorise a separate hosting or domain payment.

Profile approval and changes

Payment does not publish your profile automatically. Our team reviews it before publication. If changes are needed, we explain them in your account so you can edit and resubmit without another checkout. When you edit an approved profile, its current approved version remains visible while we review your changes. A profile must remain approved and eligible under its subscription to appear in the directory.

Renewal and cancellation

You can cancel renewal from your subscription page. Cancellation stops the next renewal and your approved profile remains eligible for publication until the end of the period already paid for. It does not delete your account. Staff can also help cancel renewal. If a renewal payment fails, there is a seven-day grace period to resolve it before the profile is hidden. You can still sign in to manage your account.

Billing questions

Email hello@listyourbusiness.co.uk with your business reference if you have a question about a payment, cancellation or refund. We will use that reference to find your subscription.

Customer reviews

Reviews must describe your own experience. Do not review your own business or include advertising, links, abusive content or someone else's private information. One review is accepted per email address for each business. After you confirm your email address, the business owner or our team checks your review before publication. A negative rating alone is not a reason to reject or delete it. Moderators record reasons for rejection or deletion, and our team can review those decisions.
